BetterPreachingApp.com was designed for the best experience on laptop and desktop devices, giving the writing tools room to work the way they're meant to. Our marketing site is fully mobile-friendly, but we recommend a laptop or desktop when you're writing and managing messages in the app.

The base plan is $24.99/month (or $250/year billed annually). The Shepherd's Staff add-on is an additional $19.99/month, bringing the combined plan to $44.98/month (or $450/year). See the Pricing page for current details.

Yes — new accounts can start with a free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you won't be charged if you cancel before it ends. Trials are limited to one per person.

Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing, or by emailing support@betterpreachingapp.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.

Yes — from Settings → Billing → Change plan, you can add or remove the add-on, or switch between monthly and yearly billing. You'll see the new price and any prorated charge or credit before confirming.

Cancelling only stops future billing — your account and data stay exactly as they are, and you keep access through the end of your paid period. Deleting your account is a separate, permanent action: it immediately and irreversibly removes your data, so we recommend exporting your data from Settings first if you'd like to keep a copy.

No — each account is for individual use only. If your church has multiple preaching staff, see our Church Staff Access options on the Pricing page for a team plan.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@betterpreachingapp.com within 7 days of the charge and we'll review your request.

A paid mentorship add-on where you can ask sermon- and ministry-related questions and receive guidance from Dr. Mark Richardson. Questions are typically answered within 48 hours.

New questions can be submitted Sunday 5:00 PM through Friday 5:00 PM (CST). This keeps response times reliable and gives weekends for sermon preparation.

If your professor gave you a class code, enter it on the student sign-up page when creating your account. If you already have an account, open a new question in The Shepherd's Staff and choose "Have a class code instead?" to link your account to your class.

No. The Shepherd's Staff provides message-specific guidance related to your sermon preparation from Dr. Richardson. It is not a substitute for pastoral counseling, professional counseling, or legal/medical advice.

Open Settings → General. Changing your email requires your current password and a confirmation link sent to the new address; your current email stays active until you confirm it.

No. We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers (hosting, payments, analytics, customer support, email) who help us operate the service.

Yes. You must be 18 or older to create an account, submit personal information, or purchase a subscription.
